Why is this an issue?

This is a really big issue because with all the information being shared on the internet hackers or other threats can access almost everything of one person’s.  Banks are even starting to join the online cult of services. Now, if you aren’t safe with your passwords or information these fiends could get into you bank account and have your money under their control. They can steal your identity. They can stalk you over the internet or in real life!

Any personal information is dangerous to have floating around the internet. It can lead to online stalkers, real life stalkers, and other type of predator.

Children can be very gullible, so when someone on the internet tells the child that they're also a kid and becomes their "friend". This is how child predator find children to prey upon. Kidnappings, child molesting, ect. can be the result of a child being unsafe on the internet. On the same token an adult being unsafe on the internet (even with online dating sites!) can lead to kidnapping, rape, abuse, ect. It is very important to know who you are talking to on the internet.
