What mark I want.

I believe I should get a C+ or a B in this class. I tried really hard! Sure, the final is bound to stump me for I have no idea how I even plan to do this maya thing. But I do plan to try! So if you end up with some Stxkz thing (or however you spell it) at least know this: I did try Maya (if I can get it to work. I will state in the project I couldn’t get it to work. Maybe I could even post a failed attempt—if I find out how to export it or something.

Aside from that, I did spend a ton of time that cut out animation! Sure, it kind of wasn’t that good but look at the obvious improvement should have been enough to prove something, right?

A lot of the work I did this semester in animation was research, and I admit, that is not my strong point—says the one who spent their entire summer researching history. I still couldn’t write half the stuff  I learned from that though. I’m much more creative, not really the book strong type.

Also that sculpting thing. That was torturous! It was super laggy on everything I tried to work on, and the painting… oh no, the painting was just terrible! Marks would show up all over the place and not paint where you wanted it too. It would jump around…. Terrible, I say.  So please excuse the horrid painting job on it. I don’t think I did half bad on the sculpting it, though! Aside from the hair. That stuff was hard, man!

Let me see, what else did I do. The rotoscoping.. That was hard for me, I found myself just drawing what I wanted to and not following the lines out of habit, and I didn’t notice until I was too far into the scene! Not something I ever want to do again. I simply cannot trace, I have never let myself trace due to how much everyone on the internet hates artist who trace. Looking at references? Fine. I just cannot trace and found it very hard to do so, even doing better on the scenes I kind of just looked at the movie clip like it was just a sketch (the later scenes. I tried very hard to trace the first scene of the movie clip and as you could see on my computer, it really sucked.
