Jobs in animation
There are many different jobs in animation, and many people working in them. We always have new animation movies and episodes of animations we love coming out. There are even come networks that show animation shows 24/7. They demand is high for animation shows, making it a huge industry. Animations are made for everyone--from small children to adults.
Animators (in tv animation) don’t have long days unless they’re nearing he deadline and are in a crunch for time. They days are normally about 8 hours long.
If the animator is working on a show/cartoon the episode normally will be finished in a month or two. Not soon after animation will the animator get to see the finished products fairly soon after they have animated it.
Movie making is a highly demanded business right now. However, the hours are longer. Still, if you have a family working on feature length films may put strain on family life, even more so when you’re in a crunch for time.
However, salaries to tend to be higher for people who work on feature length animations. Though, normally people without experience are not hired to do these films
Gaming also uses animation, however gaming companies tend to hire people who are really into gaming. The animation within games consist of the movements the characters do in game and things such as cut scenes or background movement (ie. Windblown trees).
Training is often received on the job and freelancers often fund their own training.
